In today’s work environment, safety of your employees and ours is Northside’s first priority.  Safety on the job site is no longer just a concern; it is now a strictly enforced, mandatory requirement.

A safe work environment is provided by minimizing and eliminating hazards.  When existing hazards can not be eliminated, their harmful effects are minimized through environmental controls, training, and by providing and requiring the use of personal protective equipment.

Written safety program that addresses:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Fire Prevention Procedures
  • Lock-out Procedures
  • Confined Space Entry Procedures
  • Fall Protection
  • Weekly tool box safety meeting
  • Written Hazard Communication Program
  • Job Specific Activity Hazard Analysis
  • Random Drug Testing Policy

Before each work activity our foremen have been trained to perform a Task Hazard Analysis with their crew to identify hazards and discuss how to safely perform each task assigned.

Each employee is trained with regard to our safety expectations as well as those requested to be observed by OSHA & MSHA.
